1. Download oxygene_Installer.dmg from oxygene-app.com.
2. Double-click the .dmg to mount it.
3. Drag the OXYGENE icon into your Applications folder.
4. Launch the app from Launchpad or Applications.

On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded outside the App Store: click Open. OXYGENE is notarized by Apple.

OXYGENE runs on:

• macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later

Your OXYGENE Premium license lets you activate the application on 2 Macs simultaneously — for example your main desktop and a laptop.

If you switch Macs, you can deactivate the license on the old one from Preferences → License → Deactivate this device, then activate it on the new one.

Deleted files are sent to the macOS Trash (unless you explicitly choose the multi-pass shredder in the Security module).

1. Quit OXYGENE if it's open.
2. Drag the app from Applications to the Trash.
3. Empty the trash.

To also remove preferences and residual caches, use the Applications module of OXYGENE before uninstalling — or manually remove ~/Library/Application Support/OXYGENE.

No. OXYGENE is a 100% local application: all scans, analyses and operations happen on your Mac. No file, no photo, no password is sent over the internet.

Not yet. We're working on publishing OXYGENE on the Mac App Store. In the meantime, the app is available as a direct download from our site, notarized by Apple to guarantee security.
